This past summer Royce and I baked a beautiful apple pie and it looked fantastic, even in pictures.

For my birthday this past February, I asked and received, a pasta maker. Unfortunately, our first foray into pasta making did not go as well as the pie. The smell of the pasta was much better than the taste or appearance. I guess we'll have to get a lesson from Chez Matte.
