We began our first day without Carrie receiving a phone call from her at the airport. It seems that she had forgotten her ID and bank card at home. So after dropping Will off at school, myself and the other two children drove up to EPI and dropped the items off to be sent to her immediately. (I'm guessing she won't make this mistake twice).
Then we shoved off to one of the local grocery stores to purchase the evening's dinner and some other groceries. Royce was of great help especially in the check-out lane. After dropping Royce off at school and picking Will up the three boys enjoyed a nice lunch at home while admiring Will's school photos that just came in. Naps were soon to follow (for everyone since I'm still getting over some touch of the flu) and then Royce arrived home in the afternoon.
We then enjoyed some playtime before I made our lovely dinner and proceeded to take Will back and forth to the bathroom 4 times because he said he needed to use his "potty." No evidence ever was produced. Following dinner our sitter Val arrived and I left for work where I proceeded to get rained on for two hours while coaching a group of 13 year olds how to pass a ball with more pace. I arrived home to discover the all the kids had a wonderful time (thanks Val) and we unfortunately have to repeat the cycle again tomorrow.
Which means we really miss you, Caroline.
BTW, apparently you CAN get on a flight without your ID. Who'd a thuckit!
