A few months ago Royce planted some cantaloupe seeds in a flowerbed in our backyard. At first we figured nothing would come of it, then as luck would have it, something started to grow out of the ground where she said she had put the seeds. Carrie and I thought it was a weed. Since neither one of us can profess to have a green thumb we consulted others. They assured us that it indeed was a plant of some sort. Over the past couple of weeks the plant has begun to flower and just recently it bore fruit.
We think Farmer Royce has produced cantaloupe. Hopefully it will continue to mature under her watchful eye.

Royce can come to our house and garden with us :)
Awesome Royce!
A weed is just a misplaced flower, my friends.
More importantly, I think there is a law of nature that states, and I think this is verbatim, "any time a kid throws a seed at the ground, a monstrous plant will grow and eventually take over the garden."
